We’re very excited to welcome a new member to our team – Sharna! Sharna has joined the team as our Graphic Designer handling all things print. It’s great to have Sharna on-board so be sure to say hi next time you visit our studio!

We would like to welcome both Miriam and Nick to the Quisk team.
Miriam is our new Part Time, Manager of First Impressions, that’s right, Administration. Be sure to call up and say hello to our new friendly voice or pop in for a chat. She makes a mean Cheesecake slice!!! For all those late payers, you will be introduced to Miriam quite soon. 
Nick is our new Web Ninja. After a long stint in the US working for many design firms in Manhattan, Nick soon got sick of being asked if he was Irish. After missing the surf, sun, cricket and the Adelaide ‘twang’, Nick jumped straight back on a plane and headed home to Oz. Nick is our resident website designer/developer.

The team at Quisk Design are proud to announce the studio has been awarded BEST MICRO-BUSINESS in the 2009 BEC Australia Awards for Performance in Sydney on 10th November 2009.
The award recognises a business’ practices, innovation and service delivery; having realised outstanding outcomes. After being named a Finalist in 2008 BEC Australia Awards for Performance for Best New Business, the team was determined to take out an award this year… and we DID IT!

On Tuesday 10th November, the winners of the 2009 BEC Australia Awards for Performance were announced at the National Conference in Sydney, New South Wales.
Quisk Design; a proud South Australian Graphic and Website Design studio located on Jetty Road, Glenelg was awarded the HP Award for Best Micro Business which recognised Quisk Design’s business practices, innovation and service delivery; having realised outstanding outcomes. A total of 7 businesses from around Australia were listed as Finalists; 4 from South Australia. To be eligible for this award, nominated businesses must employ less than five people, including the owner/operator.
After being named a Finalist in 2008 BEC Australia Awards for Performance for Best New Business, Quisk Design was determined on taking out an award the following year.
Despite the World Financial Crisis earlier in the year, the newly established design studio firmly committed to continuing to assist businesses promote their business’ to Australia and the world by providing a complete range of creative solutions, from website design and development to graphic design and corporate identity/logo design.
Quisk Design Directors, Jason and Kerryn Page would like to acknowledge and thank the Southern Success and Inner Southern BEC’s for their ongoing support and advice, also to Hewlett Packard for sponsoring the award.
A trophy and cash prize is being awarded at the Southern Success BEC Annual General Meeting on Friday 27th November 2009.
